Description

Descenders are used for self-rescue and evacuation from elevated areas where the rate of descent is not controlled by the user but designed for approximately a constant 6’ per second. Easily mounts to an overhead anchor point and is used by attaching the snap hook to the harness chest D-Ring. Once descent is activated, descent will continue until either the ground or next closest level is reached. The rate of descent is fast enough to allow for safe evacuation, but slow enough not to cause any injury when the user lands. Meets all applicable OSHA regulations and ANSI standards.
