HazProof® - The world's most advanced hazmat boot. Certified to NFPA 1991-2016 Standard on Vapor-Protective Ensembles for Hazardous Materials Emergencies and CBRN Terrorism Incidents. Made of chemical-resistant, injection-molded specialty PVC creating seamless, 100% liquid-proof construction. Steel shank, mid-sole and toe offer puncture and impact protection. Sure grip cleated outsole offers excellent traction, puncture and abrasion resistance. Includes (3) stretch closures easily fastened even when wearing gloves. Smooth finish for easy decontamination clean-up. Orange upper/cream outsole. 11" Height. Tested to Military Standard 282 and will provide protection against certain chemical warfare blister and nerve agents. Steel toe complies with ASTM F2413 M/I/C PR EH for steel toe impact and compression, puncture resistance, and electrical hazard protection. Boot shall withstand 18,000 volts at 60 Hz for 1 minute with no current flow or leakage current in excess of 1.0 milliamperes under dry conditions, tested as per lab conditions in Test Method ASTM F2412.
